Another big day for our senior men with two more milestone matches — and yes, the animal kingdom is well represented!
π΄ Riley “Bear” Horsburgh notches up his 50th senior game! A fierce competitor with a soft spot for the club (and probably honey), Bear has been a loyal Dog from juniors through to now. A big effort from the big fella!
βͺοΈ Nathan “Possum” Casboult hits a massive 150 senior games! After a season away in 2024, he’s made a triumphant return in 2025 and hasn’t skipped a beat. A class act on and off the field — and part of our ever-growing Barossa Zoo.
π΅ Just last week, we celebrated Fruitbat’s milestone — yep, Possum’s brother — and we’re starting to wonder if we should be charging admission to the animal enclosure at Barossa Park! π¦π¦π¦
Huge congrats to Mitchell McDonald, who makes his A Grade debut this weekend for the Barossa District Bulldogs! π
Mitch has been putting in the hard work at Central District the past few years and now returns to his roots at BDFNC, where it all began as a junior. This is a special moment as he follows in the footsteps of his twin brother Riley, who debuted just last weekend — and of course, their older brother Austin, who’s also proudly pulled on the red, white & blue.
The McDonald family must be absolutely bursting with pride — and so are we π₯Ή. Three footy legends, one proud club.
π Huge congratulations to our U13 star, Sonny Slatter, who represented Gawler District at the SAPSASA Country & Metro Carnival at West Beach this week! Despite the wet and wild weather, Sonny and his Division 1 team went undefeated across all 9 games to take out the championship again this year! ππ
Well done, Sonny – what a fantastic achievement! πͺ #ProudClub #FutureStar #BDFNC... See MoreSee Less

π΄$4 match day entry fees until 2pm. βͺοΈLimited parking around oval 2 for U9 and U11s – access via Gate 1 π΅Dinner service 5:30 – 9pm - All Welcome.
Have noticed that there are a number here where I have circled.
There is also a big reserve on Bevilaqua Tce that is available for parking
Is there allocated disabled parking spaces available?
Parking on Bevilaqua terrace is on the oval side only and there is about 50-60 parking spots. It was full early into the reserves last home game. Get in early.
Is the club aware? Be careful parking on oval 2. Alot of irrigation sprinklers were broken by parked cars and the council have just fixed them. It is why they are locking the gate now near the tanks and pump shed.
