Barossa Park – Lyndoch

We are moving
Our New Home Ground

The Barossa District Football & Netball Club is moving to Lyndoch! After 45 years of being based in Williamstown at the southern gateway of the beautiful Barossa Valley, our Club has worked with The Barossa Council and the other Lyndoch clubs and community groups since 2016 to plan for and now realise our goal of improved facilities!

Through much consultation, contribution, strategy, and a bit of luck, as a club we are grateful to be able to call the new Barossa Park venue our home. The new facilities are now capable of hosting all levels of football – right up to AFL and higher levels netball competition.

In April 2025, Barossa Park will host 2 AFL Premiership Matches, North Melbourne v Gold Coast Suns and Richmond v Freemantle.

Congratulations Jake Lane on 50 Senior Games! 👏

Jake has been a Bulldog from the very beginning, coming through our juniors and now making his mark in the reserves side. The Lane family has a proud and strong history here at Barossa District, and it’s special to see Jake continue that tradition alongside his brother Tyson.

A determined and loyal player, Jake always gives his all for the red, white and blue – and we can’t wait to see what’s ahead for him in the years to come.

We’re back at home this weekend taking on Kapunda, and the stakes couldn’t be higher. Both our Reserves and A Grade footy sides are fighting for those all-important finals spots – every kick, every tackle, every goal counts!

On the netball courts, our girls face some massive clashes as they push hard for their own finals chances. Expect determination, grit and plenty of fight right to the final whistle. 🏐✨

On Sunday women’s footy – it’s prelim final time! 🙌 Our U13s and U16s will be leaving absolutely everything out there for a golden ticket into the Grand Final next week. These girls have worked their hearts out all season – now it’s time to show up, get loud and get behind them! ❤️🤍💙

Meanwhile, our Senior Women’s side get a well-earned rest this week after securing a direct ticket into the Grand Final. 🏆 One step away from glory!

🍻 And don’t rush off after the games – stick around for dinner and our legendary Annual Beer Pong Night! Always a club favourite and a night you won’t want to miss.

Let’s pack the kennel, make some noise, and show Kapunda what Barossa District is all about! 🔵⚪️🔴
