MOUTH GUARDS ARE A COMPULSORY – NO MOUTH GUARD, NO TRAIN NOR PLAY
During the 2012 AFL season, a Gold Coast Suns player had his front teeth knocked out during a football game. He later required dental surgery to have the teeth re-inserted after they were found on the ground after the game. The player had a mouthguard with him, but it was in his sock, not in his mouth! He missed games as he recovers from surgery, and there was the chance his teeth would die and turn black due to the loss in blood supply to them for some time.

The Bahnisch Family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Barossa District Family for all their kind words, messages, and phone calls of support and well-wishes following Cody’s injury a few weeks ago. We have been truly overwhelmed by the support we’ve received and deeply touched by the generosity shown through donations toward Cody’s medical bills.
Every kind word spoken, every hug, every message of encouragement—even the well-placed jokes—have meant more to us than we can express. They’ve carried us through some incredibly tough days and reminded us of the strength and unity of this amazing community.
We would also like to acknowledge the amazing support from the staff at North Adelaide Dental Care. Their kindness, care, and thoughtfulness have made a real difference during this challenging time, and we’re incredibly grateful.
While the road ahead for Cody remains uncertain and his season unclear, we remain hopeful and encouraged—buoyed by the unwavering support of those around us. From the bottom of our hearts, Thank You! ... See MoreSee Less
