MOUTH GUARDS ARE A COMPULSORY – NO MOUTH GUARD, NO TRAIN NOR PLAY
During the 2012 AFL season, a Gold Coast Suns player had his front teeth knocked out during a football game. He later required dental surgery to have the teeth re-inserted after they were found on the ground after the game. The player had a mouthguard with him, but it was in his sock, not in his mouth! He missed games as he recovers from surgery, and there was the chance his teeth would die and turn black due to the loss in blood supply to them for some time.
There are two places for mouthguards:

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW REQUIRED.
NO REGISTRATION = NO TRAINING AND NO GAME.
Registration policies of the AFL and therefore the BL&G require that all players register online.
We ask all Central District U16 and 18’s squad members to please not register yet.
Please note:
Players age 17.5 will need to contact Rebecca at registrations@barossadistrictfootball.com.au to obtain a Voucher to discount the senior fee at the checkout.
If you do not enter the code the system thinks you are a senior (by age) and applies senior fees.
All payments will be taken online via the online registration system.
Remember the government voucher of $200 is available for students up to year 9 now.
Don’t forget that communication is essential in running any well organised club. Team App is the BDFC Colts preferred way of communicating with parents. From newsletters to game times and everything in between.

These school holidays, 6 of our U13 Barossa girls participated in the inaugural Central District U13 Girls Football Academy at X Convenience Oval.
This program was designed to nurture the talents and further the skills of our up and coming football stars.
With an amazing team of coaches including Shaun Ribbons & Shelby Smith, teaching the fundamentals of football, Im sure every girl that attended gained something from it, to help them with their own personal development.
Congratulations & well done Girls.
