The Barossa District Football & Netball Club is moving to Lyndoch! After 45 years of being based in Williamstown at the southern gateway of the beautiful Barossa Valley, our Club has worked with The Barossa Council and the other Lyndoch clubs and community groups since 2016 to plan for and now realise our goal of improved facilities!
Through much consultation, contribution, strategy, and a bit of luck, as a club we are grateful to be able to call the new Barossa Park venue our home. The new facilities are now capable of hosting all levels of football – right up to AFL and higher levels netball competition.
In April 2025, Barossa Park will host 2 AFL Premiership Matches, North Melbourne v Gold Coast Suns and Richmond v Freemantle.

We are excited to announce Ricky Wilkin as our Senior Colts Coach for the 2025 season. Ricky’s connection to our club runs deep, having started his journey with Barossa District as a young player in the U10s. Over the years, he has built an impressive career, including time in the Central District underage program and over 100 senior games for Barossa, capped off by being a member of the 2006 premiership team.
Ricky’s coaching experience is equally noteworthy, having led junior girls' teams and the senior women’s team. Most recently, he served as the Junior Development Officer for the BLGW and currently holds the position of Senior Football Director at BDFNC.

Drew brings a wealth of experience to the role, with a history that includes coaching Premiership Reserves, being named SANFL Auskick Coach of the Year, and leading our Senior Women’s team to a Premiership. Drew has had a history of coaching juniors with being heavily involved with the Under 9’s program and his playing career consisting of over 150 games.
